The house

Welcome to Casa Curva.

Casa Curva is a small house of independent studios, built around the water and the plants. Natural materials, cool shade and the sound of the garden in the background.

Days start slowly here: coffee on the terrace, a swim before the heat, and the village a few steps away whenever you want to find it.

The shared pool seen from above, surrounded by garden.
  • Shared pool

A quiet place to swim early or spend the afternoon in the shade.

  • Garden all around

Palms, big leaves and corners to read, eat or do nothing at all.

  • Steps from the village

Close to the centre, the beach and the markets, far from the noise.

The studios

Your own space, kept simple.

Every studio is independent and opens onto the garden. Morning light, cross ventilation and everything you need for a few days or a few weeks.

The experience

Slow down.

There is not much to do here, and that is the idea. Water, shade, plants and time without looking at the clock.

The pool is usually silent early on: that is the best moment to swim. In the afternoon the shade arrives, and with it the long conversations.

A day at Casa Curva

  1. Morning

    Coffee and still water

You wake with the light. The pool is empty. The village has not started yet.

  2. Afternoon

    Shade and salt

The beach, an unhurried lunch, and back to the house when the heat sets in.

  3. Evening

    Low rhythm

Dinner in the village or something simple in the kitchenette, and the garden quiet.

The details

Honest materials, local ceramics, linen and shade. Nothing more.

  • Reflections on the water mid-morning
  • Ceramics and clay from the region
  • Bed linen in natural fibres
  • Palm shade all afternoon

Explore

Sayulita, at your own pace.

A surf village on the coast of Nayarit: colourful, small and easy to walk. You can cross it in twenty minutes, but it is worth staying longer.

  • Quiet beaches

The village beach sits right in the centre. Playa de los Muertos is a ten-minute walk away, and Carricitos a little further, with far fewer people.

  • Surf for everyone

The village wave is soft and steady: good to learn on, good to come back to. There are schools and board rentals along the beach.

  • Local flavours

Grilled fish, ceviche and tacos near the water; cafés that open early around the plaza and small kitchens on the side streets.

  • Markets and culture

A weekly growers and makers market in high season, Wixárika art in the galleries downtown, and music on the plaza at dusk.
